Dear Trinity Family,
The Elders met Tuesday night to pray for our world, our country, our community and our church family, as we face the fallout from COVID-19. We realize that these are trying times, so we want to stay as connected as possible to one another and, most importantly, to our LORD. At our Session meeting last night, the Elders passed the following motion:
"For the next two weeks (until on or about April 1st, 2020) we, being Trinity Presbyterian Church, suspend services and will Live Stream and post our Sunday service instead. Also, we will suspend all groups of 10 or more people that are using the church for the same period of time, at the end of which we will reevaluate and comply with any County or Federal mandates."
After this two-week period, we will re-assess the situation and take the next appropriate steps. The other groups that use our campus have been advised not to meet during this time, as well. In the meantime, as mentioned, we will Livestream our Sunday morning 9am service. To watch the service Live on Sunday, just come back to this page where you will be directed to the appropriate link that will allow you to watch the service. The service will also be put on the website in case you would like to watch it at a later time instead.
As you can see from the news reports, circumstances are very fluid and are changing from moment to moment. During a pandemic it is natural to experience worry, anxiety and fear. I want to remind you, that although things may constantly be in flux, God does not change. Jesus is our Rock and our foundation upon which we build our lives and carry out His will. No matter how fierce the storms around us may be, we find security and protection in Him.
“My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress; I will never be shaken. (Psalm 62:2)
The County is asking that we stay home as much as possible, so if you have questions or need anything, please call the church office (805) 484-0530. The office will remain open during this time with reduced hours; M-Th from 10am to 3pm. Please stay safe and be well.
God’s Grace & Peace,
